Other Roads Other Lives 1998
The debut solo CD contains some of my favourite songs from almost every musical genre. Acappella songs and songs with occasional sensitive instrumental accompaniments by George Norris (guitar), Tania Opland (fiddle and Navajo flute) and Mike Freeman (hand percussion).
Plenty 2003
My partnership with amazing guitarist and songwriter Grant Baynham. We call ourselves QuickSilver (the name originally inspired by the respective initials of our first names - H G-Hg-Mercury-quicksilver- geddit?) and what you hear on the CD is simply our two voices and Grant’s guitar.
Make ‘Em Laugh! 2007
A live recording of QuickSilver’s show “Make ‘Em Laugh!” recorded during performance at the Heron Theatre Beetham in Cumbria in May 2007. The CD celebrates 100 years of Comic Song from the era of Gilbert and Sullivan, throughout the 20th Century including the works of, among others, Joyce Grenfell, Noel Coward, Tom Lehrer, Flanders and Swann, Richard Stilgoe, Jake Thackray and Victoria Wood.
